The Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted a National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights in November 2018.
Through its National Action Plan, the Republic of Slovenia aims to strengthen activities designed to ensure that human rights are respected in business activities throughout the value chain and to additionally develop cooperation between the state, business enterprises, business associations, unions, NGOs and other stakeholders. Guidelines on conducting human rights due diligence for business enterprises are provided in an annex to the National Action Plan.
