Гендерная справедливость должна лежать в основе бизнеса и прав человека. Работающие женщины часто получают самую низкую заработную плату и с ними хуже всего обращаются. В равной степени женщины являются важной частью решения проблемы.

Гендерная справедливость должна лежать в основе бизнеса и прав человека. Работающие женщины часто получают самую низкую заработную плату и с ними хуже всего обращаются. Женщины часто лишены права собственности на землю и лишены собственности. Участились случаи нападений на женщин, которые выступают против компаний-нарушителей. В равной степени женщины являются важной частью решения проблемы: например, их борьба за достойную работу и прожиточный минимум способствует реализации многих других ключевых прав, таких как право на жилище, а также права на здоровье и образование. Женщины также организовались, например, вокруг дискриминации в оплате труда, #MeToo на рабочем месте и прав на землю.

Растет внимание к обеспечению гендерного равенства в области бизнесе и прав человека. Хотя это обнадеживает, жизненно важно, чтобы это движение признавало и ценило голоса и лидерство женщин и учитывало их многочисленные роли в качестве правозащитников, производителей продуктов питания, рабочих и лиц, обеспечивающих уход.
